プライバシーポリシー

ZenDesign（以下「運営者」といいます）は、運営者が提供するスマートフォン用アプリケーション「孤独死対策アプリ」（以下「本アプリ」といいます）および、運営者が運営するウェブサイト（以下「本ウェブサイト」といいます。本アプリと合わせて「本サービス」といいます）における、利用者情報の取扱いについて、以下のとおりプライバシーポリシー（以下「本ポリシー」といいます）を定めます。

1. 取得する情報および取得方法

本サービスにおいて、運営者は以下の情報を取得・利用します。

(1) 利用者から直接ご提供いただく情報

  • アカウント情報（本アプリ）：
    本アプリの利用登録およびログインに必要なメールアドレス、パスワード等。
  • 緊急連絡先情報（本アプリ）：
    利用者が登録する緊急連絡先のメールアドレス（安否確認通知の送信先）。
  • お問い合わせ情報（共通）：
    本アプリまたは本ウェブサイトのお問い合わせフォーム等を通じて送信いただく氏名、メールアドレス、電話番号、お問い合わせ内容。

(2) 本サービスの利用に伴い自動的に取得する情報

  • アクティビティ情報（本アプリ）：
    本アプリ内の「確認ボタン」が押下された日時、および本アプリの最終起動日時等の利用履歴。
  • 端末情報およびログ情報（本アプリ）：
    利用者が使用する端末の機種、OSバージョン、IPアドレス、クラッシュログ（アプリが強制終了した際の情報）等。これらはFirebase（Google社）の機能を通じて取得されます。
  • クッキー（Cookie）およびアクセスログ（本ウェブサイト）：
    本ウェブサイトでは、サイトの利用状況を把握するためにCookieやIPアドレス、ブラウザの種類、アクセス日時等のログ情報を収集する場合があります。

2. 利用情報の利用目的

取得した利用者情報は、以下の目的のために利用します。

本サービスの提供・維持

  • 日々の安否確認（アクティビティ記録）のため。
  • 重要：毎日18時の定期確認において、過去72時間以内に確認ボタンの押下がないとシステムが判断した場合に、登録された緊急連絡先へ自動的に通知メールを送信するため。

ユーザーサポート

  • お問い合わせへの対応、本人確認のため。

サービスの改善・開発

  • 本アプリおよび本ウェブサイトの利用状況の分析。
  • 不具合（クラッシュ）の原因調査および修正のため。
  • サイトのコンテンツ改善および利便性向上のため。

不正利用の防止

  • 利用規約に違反する行為や不正アクセスへの対応のため。

3. 緊急連絡先情報の取扱い（第三者提供について）

本アプリは、サービスの核心的な機能として、利用者の安否確認が取れない場合に、利用者が指定した第三者（緊急連絡先）へメール通知を行います。利用者は、緊急連絡先情報を本アプリに登録した時点で、当該連絡先への通知送信に同意したものとみなします。なお、利用規約等に定める通り、緊急連絡先の相手方からの同意取得は利用者の責任において行うものとします。

上記および法令で認められる場合を除き、運営者は利用者の同意なく第三者に個人情報を提供することはありません。

4. 情報収集モジュールおよびアクセス解析ツール

本サービスでは、利用状況の解析や機能提供のために、以下の第三者ツールを使用しています。これらのツールは、端末の識別子やIPアドレス、Cookieなどを収集する場合がありますが、個人を特定する情報は含みません。

利用目的：本アプリの利用状況解析、認証機能、通知機能の提供のため。
Google社によるデータの取扱いについては、以下のプライバシーポリシーをご確認ください。

Google Analytics（Google Inc.）

利用目的：本ウェブサイトのアクセス解析、トラフィックデータの収集のため。
この機能はCookieを無効にすることで収集を拒否することが出来ますので、お使いのブラウザの設定をご確認ください。

5. 利用者情報の送信停止・削除

  • 送信停止（本アプリ）：
    本アプリを端末からアンインストールすることで、情報の取得・送信を停止することができます。
  • Cookieの無効化（本ウェブサイト）：
    ブラウザの設定を変更することにより、Cookieの使用を無効にすることができます。
  • アカウント削除：
    利用者がアプリ内の設定またはお問い合わせを通じてアカウント削除を依頼した場合、運営者は保有する個人情報を速やかに削除します。ただし、バックアップデータ等、技術的な理由ですぐに削除できない場合や、法令に基づき保存が必要な場合はこの限りではありません。

6. プライバシーポリシーの変更

運営者は、法令の改正や本サービスの機能変更等に伴い、本ポリシーを変更することがあります。重要な変更がある場合には、本アプリ内または公式サイト上での掲示等、分かりやすい方法で利用者に通知します。

Privacy Policy

ZenDesign (hereinafter referred to as the “Operator”) hereby establishes this Privacy Policy (hereinafter referred to as “this Policy”) regarding the handling of user information in the smartphone application “Solitary Death Prevention App” (hereinafter referred to as “the App”) provided by the Operator and the website operated by the Operator (hereinafter referred to as “the Website”; collectively referred to as “the Service”).

1. Information We Collect and How We Collect It

In the Service, the Operator collects and uses the following information:

(1) Information provided directly by the user

  • Account Information (The App):
    Email address, password, etc., required for registration and login to the Service.
  • Emergency Contact Information (The App):
    The email address of the designated emergency contact registered by the user (recipient of safety alerts).
  • Inquiry Information (Common):
    Name, email address, phone number, and content of the inquiry sent via the inquiry form on the App or the Website.

(2) Information collected automatically through the use of the Service

  • Usage Data (The App):
    Timestamps of “I’m Okay” button presses (“Confirmation Button”) and the last launch time of the App to determine if an alert needs to be sent.
  • Device and Log Information (The App):
    Device model, OS version, IP address, crash logs, etc. These are collected via Firebase (Google) functionalities.
  • Cookies and Access Logs (The Website):
    The Website may collect logs such as Cookies, IP addresses, browser types, and access dates/times to analyze site usage.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected data for the following purposes:

To provide and maintain the Service

  • To record daily safety status (activity monitoring).
  • Important: To send automated email alerts to your registered emergency contact when the system determines that the “Confirmation Button” has not been pressed within the past 72 hours.

User Support

  • To respond to inquiries and verify identity.

Improvement and Development of the Service

  • To analyze the usage of the App and the Website.
  • To detect technical issues and fix app crashes.
  • To improve website content and user experience.

Advertising

  • To display advertisements (via AdMob) to support the free operation of the App.

3. Handling of Emergency Contact Information (Provision to Third Parties)

As a core function of the Service, the App sends email notifications to the third party designated by the user (Emergency Contact) when the user’s safety cannot be confirmed. By registering the emergency contact information in the App, the user is deemed to have agreed to the sending of notifications to said contact. As stipulated in the Terms of Service, the user represents and warrants that they have obtained the necessary consent from their contact person to share their email address.

Except for the above and cases permitted by law, the Operator will not provide personal information to third parties without the user’s consent.

4. Third-Party Services and Analytics Tools

We use third-party services that may collect information used to identify you to improve the App and provide our services. These tools may collect device identifiers, IP addresses, and Cookies, but do not contain personally identifiable information.

Firebase (Google Inc.)

Purpose: Backend services, authentication, database management, and analytics for the App.
Please refer to the privacy policy below regarding data handling by Google.

AdMob (Google Inc.)

Purpose: To display personalized advertisements.
AdMob may use your device’s advertising ID to serve ads based on your interests.

Google Analytics (Google Inc.)

Purpose: To analyze access to the Website and collect traffic data.
You can refuse the collection of this data by disabling Cookies in your browser settings.

5. Data Retention and Deletion

  • Stop Transmission (The App):
    You can stop the collection and transmission of information by uninstalling the App from your device.
  • Disabling Cookies (The Website):
    You can disable the use of Cookies by changing your browser settings.
  • Account Deletion:
    You can delete your account and all associated data directly within the app settings at any time. Alternatively, you can request deletion via the contact form. Once processed, your personal data is permanently removed from our servers, except where retention is required by law or for technical backup reasons.

6. Changes to This Privacy Policy

The Operator may update this Policy due to amendments in laws or changes in the functions of the Service. If there are significant changes, we will notify users through the App or on the Website in a clear manner.
